The Biodiversity Funders Group (BFG) is a network of some the most influential environment and conservation funders, including the Oak Foundation, Oceans5, the David & Lucile Packard Foundation, Oceankind, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, and the Walton Family Foundation, and in addition to dozens of other foundations in the US, Canada, and Europe. They expect 60-70 foundation presidents, program officers, and trustees to participate in this year’s meeting.

The Global Alliance for the Future of Food Executive Director, Anna Lappé, will be speaking at the event on 8 October on how the philanthropic community is working to accelerate the transition to more regenerative food systems, making the link between sustainable land and aquatic food systems.
